The French marque is testing the scheme, which aims to give access to mobility vehicles from the Peugeot range, in London and Bristol.
Customers can now rent a large range of Peugeot vehicles, from the Peugeot RCZ coupe to an LCV or even a scooter.
UK Managing Director Jon Goodman, said: “Never before has the rental customer been exposed to such an extensive product range, combined with periods of loan that offer flexible mobility and convenience".
The scheme works by using a pre-paid ‘Mu’ points card which can be topped up online and used to hire a Peugeot Coupé Cabriolet, RCZ Sports Coupé, 3008 Crossover, 5008 Compact MPV or LCV.
If the scheme is successful, it will be introduced countrywide, including in Perrys dealerships. Perrys is currently a partner of the hugely successful Motability scheme, which helps customers design a bespoke vehicle to cope with a wide range of needs.
Speaking about the new Peugeot scheme, Goodman concluded: "Mu by Peugeot brings a new mobility offer to our customers, irrespective of their brand familiarity and crucially in the year that the Peugeot brand celebrates 200-years of industrial prowess, it is leading the race to find solutions to current economic and environmental challenges".
