The American manufacturer, inspired by the Silverline Chevrolet British Touring Cars, has released a performance pack for the Cruze which includes lower suspension, new 18" alloy wheels and a boot spoiler.
The ‘CS’ styling kit also comes with unique CS graphics and carpet mats and costs £1,595 from mid-July.
Chevrolet uses enhanced Cruze saloons for its Silverline Chevrolet team at the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, where driver Jason Plato is currently competing for the title.
A standard Chevrolet Cruze in entry level S trim is priced from £13,395, rising to £15,145 for the range-topping LT specification.
The CS styling kit adds to standard equipment and safety technology such as ABS, ESC, electric front windows and electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors.
LS and LT trim levels add chrome grille surround, 16 and 17" alloy wheels respectively, rear part assist and a leather steering wheel and gear knob to the standard specification.
The Chevrolet Cruze performance option pack will be available from participating dealers from mid-July.
