The luxury car show has sold tickets faster than previous years, causing two of the three days to nearly sell out six weeks before the event begins.
One of the major draws of the show is the Jaguar 75th anniversary celebrations and in honour of the milestone, Salon Prive organisers have set up a Concours d’Elegance category in its honour.
The Jaguar category is one of only seven Concours d’Elegance categories at the show and is a major coup for the manufacturer.
Jaguar has often used Salon Prive to showcase its models and last year used the event to unveil the new XJ. The luxury saloon will return this year, and the XK sports car and XF will be showcased alongside classic Jaguars from the past 75 years.
Geoff Cousins, Managing Director, Jaguar UK, said: “With a quintessentially British feel, Salon Privé is the ideal place to celebrate 75 years of Jaguar’s heritage and showcase our latest models."
The Jaguars will appear at the Hurlingham Club in London from Wednesday 21 July to Friday 23 July. The event, famed for the array of luxury and supercars, will also include models from Maserati, Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce.
Over 4,500 visitors are expected to attend the show and join in Jaguar’s 75th anniversary celebrations.
David Bagley, co-founder of Salon Prive, said: “The response this year has been amazing, especially in returning visitors and exhibitors – to be almost sold out six weeks from the event is incredible."
He added events such as Jaguar’s 75th anniversary have helped grow the event without losing the ‘fundamental exclusivity and sense of occasion that makes it so popular’.
