Alfa has asked fans and celebrities to submit images to cover its new Giulietta model and has so far received thousands of responses.
The images will be used as a mosaic on the car, which will then be showcased at motor shows across the world.
Photographs of classic Alfa cars such as the F1 158 model from 60 years ago, the Duetto featured in The Graduate and the Alfa 155 Touring cars of the mid-1990’s will be included in the mosaic.
Over a thousand images of classic Alfa models have been submitted along with other images that represent the Italian manufacturer and some of its more iconic models.
“Many of the images capture those special memories or magical moments which bring all Alfa owners together; from the special birthday cake to the son helping to clean his dads car for the first time,” says Damien Dally UK Brand Communications Manager for Alfa Romeo.
Images can be loaded onto Alfacentenary.co.uk until Sunday July 5th, but additions before June 18 will also be included in a prize draw to win an exclusive Alfa Romeo goodie bag and a pair of VIP tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed (2 – 4 July).
Alfa will be using the Goodwood Festival of Speed to celebrate 100 years of the sporting brand. The new Giulietta hatchback, one of the most hotly anticipated new cars to be released in 2010, will be introduced alongside a selection of old and new Alfa Romeo models.
