Jaguar plans bank holiday event

Unusual events such as duck herding and archery will be held at the Cheshire event, and the brand’s latest models, the XK and XF will be available to test drive.

Jaguars young and old will be on show during the day, including Jaguar heritage cars and a host of famous Jaguar cars from films, including the famous Austin Powers Union Jack XK8 and James Bond’s 1998 XKR driven in Die Another Day.

The Jaguar models go as far back as a 1953 C-Type at the show, but the entertainment isn’t limited to the luxury cars.

Younger visitors can take part in a Jaguar Treasure Hunt and there will be a range of activities including duck herding, archery, circus skills workshop, giant games, Wii gaming and falconry.

A cookery demonstration and design a car competition will take place inside three large marquees, where entertainment will take place throughout the day.

The family fun day takes place on Sunday 30th May and will run from 10am to 4pm at Tatton Park in Macclesfield. There is free entry for people who pre-register at www.jaguar.co.uk/manchester, otherwise it will be £5 on the day.

Jaguar recently held took over Manchester’s business district to showcase the new Jaguar XK model and anybody wishing to book a test drive of the latest Jaguar models will need to contact Jaguar before the day.
