People are being asked to submit ‘adverts’ that look like classified car ads but are actually adverts for themselves.
The competition is in support of the ‘It Chooses You Campaign’ to market the new sporty coupe prior to its UK launch on 21 May.
Some of the best entries will be used in an online advertising campaign for Peugeot, and one winner of a prize draw will drive away in a brand new RCZ.
Andy Goodall, Internet Marketing Manager at Peugeot UK said: "The exciting RCZ Facebook competition will engage the audience, keeping them interested and excited using street-casted online ads, viral videos, e-mails and then using online ads featuring real entrants amongst all entries to win the stunning RCZ."
The first video posted on the Facebook page uses three ‘people classifieds’ to advertise the car. These include Bruce from Cheshire, who ‘would like to drive to exclusive places’ and Kyotto from Osaka, who ‘comes with all the latest technology built in.’
A live draw to win the Peugeot RCZ coupe will be made on 11 June at http://www.itchoosesyou.co.uk. To get an extra chance to win the draw, participants can invite friends to join the group.
