A panel of journalists from i-Van magazine and customers voted the van the best in its class at a ceremony in the NEC arena in Birmingham.
i-Van editor Matthew Eisenegger explained the decision: “The car derived van market has always been strongly contested and with each new product launch the competition gets tougher to beat. However, the enduring qualities of driveability, practicality and style offered by Corsavan make it a deserved class winner."
Vauxhall is currently attending the Commercial Vehicle Operators Show at the arena and Steve Bryant, Vauxhall’s Commercial Vehicle Brand Manager said he was ‘delighted’ with the award.
"Corsavan offers businesses large and small a practical, efficient and enjoyable driving tool with a capacity to tackle hard work which belies its compact dimensions," he added.
During the show, Vauxhall chairman Bill Parfitt told journalists he wanted the new Movano van range to be the best-selling van in the UK.
Vauxhall currently produces the most commercial vehicles in the UK and Parfitt wants to sell 30,000 vans in the UK this year as demand in the market recovers.
He said: “Movano is very important for Vauxhall, with huge potential as we rebuild the company’s position in the market.”
Vauxhall has said it wants to double sales of the Movano van after the launch of the next generation model this year.
