Available from 1 April, the Renault Megane GT hatch with an 180hp 2.0-litre petrol engine is the entry-level model, priced at £21,910 on-the-road while the 2.0 diesel alternative costs £22,975.
Both engines are available for the coupe GT and sports tourer models as well, with prices between £22,410 and £23,975 for the two versions.
The best fuel consumption figures of 47.8 can be found on all body styles fitted with the diesel engine compared to 37.2 for the petrol models.
Renault has added a sports chassis setting, GT-designed front and rear bumpers, RenaultSport seats and steering wheel, GT upholstery and rear parking sensors to the GT models, which sit between the Privilege and RenaultSport models in the line-up.
The GT models are offered in nine body colours and with a host of optional extras including metallic paint, climate control, heated front seats, leather upholstery and satellite navigation.
As an alternative to the Renault Megane GT models, Renault will also offer a lower cost GT-Line option pack which can be fitted to the Dynamique trim level with a smaller engine and GT designed interior.
