The updated Renault Trafic Phase 3 and all-new Kangoo Van Maxi will also be released in 2010, says the French manufacturer.
The new Master van has been upgraded for 2010 with a completely new interior design and, according to Renault, ‘bolder styling’.
A new 2.3 dCi engine is available with 100, 125 or 150hp outputs and offers up to 4.1mpg more than the outgoing Master van range.
Renault has added both front and rear wheel drive options, paving the way for an all-new fourth length option with a load capacity of up to 22 cubic metres.
Kangoo electric promised
Rival manufacturer Ford has recently unveiled plans to produce an electric version of the best-selling Ford Transit, and Renault has today introduced its own plans to launch an all-electric van in the form of an electric Kangoo van, set to launch in 2011.
In the meantime, a new extended wheelbase version of the Kangoo Van, the Kangoo Van Maxi, has been launched for 2010. The Kangoo Van Maxi is available with two or five seats and a load volume of 4.6 cubic metres.
The introduction of the Kangoo Van Maxi means Renault is the first manufacturer in Europe to offer three wheelbase options with a compact van.
Renault Trafic van
Completing the new range for 2010 is the upgraded third-phase Trafic van, complete with redesigned dashboard and more storage spaces.
Continuing the green theme, Renault has refined the 2.0-litre dCi engine to reduce fuel consumption in the Trafic van.
The enhancements to the Renault van range will be implemented in 2010 as the manufacturer attempts to build on the 14.81 per cent market share it currently holds.
