Designed to celebrate Pininfarina’s 80th birthday and Alfa Romeo’s centenary, the two-seat open-top 2uettottanta stole the show at the Geneva Motor Show with its flowing, sleek body style and stylish headlamp design.
The Pininfarina Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta is 1797 mm wide, 4212.6 mm long, 1280 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2500mm.
The 2uettottanta gives a nod to both the iconic 60s roadster, the Duetto, and the Alfa Spider. Unfortunately, there are no plans from Alfa to put the concept car into production, although the concept boasts a 1.7-litre four-cylinder engine in reference to the 1750 Veloce.
The simple two-seat 2uettottanta was not designed with a chassis from an existing model, giving a further indication Alfa’s reluctance to pursue a production model.
