Vintage Car owners could win £100

The search is on! Perrys Vauxhall is hunting for vintage cars to help celebrate Perrys Centenary.

The dealership on Blackpool Road, Ribbleton, is urging anyone who owns a vintage car, of any make, to enter its Vintage Car competition. The winner could have their car on display in the Preston showroom and pocket a £100 cash prize.

Perrys opened a hundred years ago, and since that date has grown from strength to strength. Starting with one Ford site in London in 1908, it now has 16 major franchises across 39 UK outlets, stocking both prestigious and value motor brands.

Peter Lambert, General Manager at Perrys Vauxhall, said: “To help us continue our Centenary celebrations, we’d like as many people as possible to come forward for this competition. All the staff at Perrys Vauxhall are really looking forward to seeing the different entries and hearing some interesting stories.”

To enter, customers simply need to write in with their story, including a photocopy of any supporting documentation or pictures, to:

Prize for Perrys 100th Birthday Card Design

Perrys had a massive entry for its Birthday Card competition, organised to celebrate its 100 years of involvement in the motor trade this year. The size and quality of the nationwide entry certainly made selecting a winner very difficult. Thirteen-year-old Christopher McMahon of Preston claimed the prize of a family ticket to Alton Towers theme park for his design.

Peter Lambert, Perrys General Manager, said he was delighted that local children were involved in Perrys Centenary celebrations. Perrys Motor Village is located at Blackpool Road, Ribbleton, Preston.

Perrys Centenary £1000 Prize Draw

Customers visiting Perrys Barnsley over the last bank-holiday week end were entered into a great prize draw, part of Perrys Centenary celebrations. As Alan Greenwood, General Manager, said: “It allows us to say thank-you to all our customers.”

Winners of the £1000 prize are Mr and Mrs Adderley, of Barnsley; also home to Perrys Citroen and Perrys Vauxhall dealerships.

Entries Close for Oldest Customer Competition

The closing date for entries in Perrys’ competition to find its Oldest Customer has just passed (30th September). The competition has been run across the country as part of Perrys’ 100th Birthday Celebrations this year, and the lucky winner can look forward to a romantic holiday for two in Paris.

So far the competition has un-earthed a 70-year-old customer who has just purchased his 27th car from Perrys, who must be in the running for the top prize! An announcement of the winner is expected shortly.
