I had to check back with my contacts deep in the Perrys 'back room', for the answer. Apparently the government originally was set to accept SORN'ed vehicles as part of the scrappage scheme, but has had second thoughts since, so sadly as things stand now, you can't get the scrappage allowance of £2000 off a new car, with your SORN'ed Daewoo. A dealer would probably accept the car in part exchange for a new car, but I couldn't say how much you'd get - depends on condition, so you'll need to ask around. Interesting question Ron.
