Used Car Values Hit 2008 Low

Average used car values fell to their lowest this year in October, according to British Car Auction . In a twelve month period used car values have fallen by over £1,000.

This is good news for anybody looking to buy a used car, there are some great deals availiable. Perrys stock nearly three thousand used cars, over five hundred of the used cars are less than £5,500, they are branded as Value Cars and represent affordable quality used cars.

Perrys is ranked No. 13 on the latest Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250 league table of Britain’s biggest mid-market private companies, produced by Fast Track. The rankings are based on sales in companies’ latest available audited accounts. The full findings are published in a special 12-page colour broadsheet supplement in The Sunday Times on 19 October, 2008, and is also obtainable on the Fast Track website. The supplement features all the listed companies, including Perrys.

Fast Track, along with the Sunday Times, researches and publishes six annual league tables, ranging from the fastest-growing to the biggest private companies, and has a reputation for signposting companies with potential.

According to entrepreneur Richard Branson “Fast Track has become the definitive barometer of growth companies”.

Burnley Boy meets Gordon Brown

Ten-year-old Joshua Ford of Burnley met Prime Minister, Gordon Brown at Number 10, Downing Street to receive the keys to his Motability Scheme car, supplied by Perrys, Burnley. The car will make a huge difference to the family, according to Joshua’s mum, Lisa.

As the Burnley Express reported, David Totty, Perrys Motability Specialist, drove the Ford family to the presentation, having advised and assisted them in their selection of a Vauxhall Vectra car.
